In celebration of the Year of the Fire Horse and the Lunar (Chinese) New Year 2026, Ladner Rotarians, family and friends gathered at the Ocean Palace Restaurant in Tsawwassen on February 27, 2026 for a tasty, multi-course dinner and good cheer.
The Year of the Fire Horse symbolizes bold energy, independence, passion, and rapid change, combining the Horse’s dynamism with the intensity of the Fire element. The Fire Horse is a rare combination in the Chinese zodiac, occurring once every 60 years, which began on February 17, 2026, and will end on February 5, 2027. It merges the Horse, known for speed, independence, and charisma, with the Fire element, which represents passion, transformation, and outward expression. This pairing creates a year characterized by momentum, bold decisions, and visible action.
